Custom thermoplastic embellishments, each hand drawn, painted, & textured by hand onto a translucent thermoplastic are either wired to “float” or sewn to a black and white, semi-pointed black and white woven straw fascinator base.  It is further embellished with spiky black feather accents.  
 
It is a very time intensive process to make the painted pieces, any irregularities in the plastic pieces are a design element and not a flaw, we treated them to look more like an abstract painting.  There is a mixture of bold, vibrant colors along with light pastel washes.  The plastic pieces are deliberately treated texturally to be irregular in surface and texture. 
 
The headpiece looks different at different angles and lighting, there are a lot of nuances to the painted & textural effects.
 
The headpiece comes attached to 2 hair clips that you can use to either clip directly onto your hair or a headband.  Upon request I can attach an adjustable size hat elastic instead.
 
Each piece is made by hand, expect variations in each piece made.
