Known as Bastet she was originally a fierce lioness warrior goddess of the sun worshiped throughout most of ancient Egyptian history, but later she was changed into the cat goddess that is familiar today.
She then was depicted as the daughter and consort of Atum-Ra, with whom she had a son, the lion god Maahes.
We present a brooch that may become a classic in our own lifetimes. A knowing smile and a sleek, lean and muscular body she sits like a feline Goddess should.
Made from matte black acrylic which when closely inspected shows a very fine fleck of glitter to it and an airbrushed inlay of ancient Gold neck piece and sultry Egyptian eyes in fine Golden detail.
She is finished with a genuine Mahogany wood backing with our signature etched MissJ logo. We make use of a high quality stainless steel 33mm brooch pin to finish the piece off.
Size: 75mm x 35mm or 3in x 2 1/2in.
Every piece we make is hand made to order by a highly skilled artisan maker and as such the lead time on your order may on occasion be around a week.
