The fascinator base that the butterflies are attached to are roughly 13cm-15cm in width, making them suitable to wear to the Royal Enclosure.  Please note, the butterflies extend past the dimensions of the hat base.  
The headpiece has 2 alligator clips attached.  It is lightweight and easy to wear.  It can clip onto a headband if desired, let us know if you would like a headband to be included for an additional cost ($5).  The hat base is lined in black felt.
